now it matches the chin
How are you going to give her hair?
Also, you have to give her a body after that, it wouldn't be complete without it. Just imagine how cool
There can not be Good without Evil, so then it must be good to be Evil sometimes.
ugh Phantom I will add one ..
no panick the lashes are just trial and eye balls too.
i tried geometry for that but i just dont like it coz its not that real ..
I will try reducing them and thinner maybe and diff shape..aahhh
io dont understand why hair should be such a problem...
my friend has shave n a hair cut maybe I'll try doing it there
in the mean time ..some tweaking but mainly start texturing :bored: :bored:
The best results with hair that I've seen (aside from the Final Fantasy hair plugin rumered to be included in Maya 6) is using thin strips of geometry, textured with hair and lots of transparancy.
Thankx michel for stopping buy ...I must say ur tutorial inspired me to do this ..am gona try finishing it...the body and stuff am going to be workiong on seperatly for the school project or I'll fail ugghh
jango ur model is great did you use a map grid at the begining fo rthe texturing?
Is it starting to look more similar or less?? evrytime am working and looking at pics I notice a ton of stuff ,they're probably mild but they're there..geezz I keep saying am gona move on ..I decided am going to do geometry for her hair
Yeah you gotta decide when to stop tweaking it , as it will drive you nuts!! My advice would be to start the hair then once you get that right you'll see your character take even better shape, then you can go back and tweak stuff you're not happy with.
My texture was done by taking a uv snapshot of the mesh into photoshop texture it and then back in again to adjust any stretching, the only real problem area was around the nostrils but that was rectified fairly quick!!
If you want to see a Uv snapshot of the mesh leave me your email and I'll send it to you with some more instructions if you get stuck
