Yeah i remember we were pretty close.

I took a long sabaticle too(gf/job=no time) But the whole time i was thinking of maya!!!

So yeah. i was thinking of how to do things in maya and what would happen if i did this and so on for a few months... when i got back into it i was better than before without touching as comp for a few months. not bad.

If we were pretty even before and we left about the same time. Maybe we should have a friendly battle?

yeah i learned that a break always helps you get better... i'm not quite sure how that works.. but it worked out the same way back when i used to skateboard as well.. anyways i'm definitely up for a small competition.. sounds like a good way to get better... any idea's on the theme?

Hmm not sure. What do you generally model.

The things i plan to model soon are:

Robot(of course)
Cockpit(like the enterior of a ship)
An outdoor scene(preferably something midevil. Castle with land or i was thinking a farm...

I think a cockpit would be something we could do in a short or long amount of time because of the little details. If you have something in mind im all for it.

Sorry i was late. Actually i wouldnt mind doing an organic model. I really need to. Ide prefer to do a beast/monster or something like that.

Do you have anything else to add? We could set one up for like.. 2 week span.

Yeah. Beast sounds good. 1st of the month seems like a good endpoint 2.

No limits on anything. Nothing required(except a model of course)

Texturing is bonus
Rigging Bonus
Animation Bonus
SFX Bonus.

Should we make a thread in the battle forums? Im not even sure its still around...
