Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
would it be possible to dynamically simulate something like a yoyo string? have a yoyo model at 1 end and a hand model at the other. then when the other hand pushes against the middle of the string, it deforms properly while maintaining its length?
