how do i bend a cylindar around a cv curve

hi
i have a cylindar that i need to bend around a cv curve i made the shape of a gazelle and i cant figure out how to do it
if anyone could help it would be greatly apreciated i hope you can do it because i dont really want to spend the time moving and rotating each vertex! im too lazy

you can make a circle, align it to the begining of thecurve and extrude along path

yes but.....

im not doing a circle
im doina a gazelle and second
im using nurbs
is it the same? or do i have to use polygons to do it

first you extrude a circle then you can fill the gaps with surfaces. after attaching them you´ll get a nurb. or you can loft it. I´m a nurb myself, but this is my understanding.
