Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Posture

Making this AT-ST pose in a "special-standing-position" in a rough landscape would be very cool!

oh

Well, half a nurbs-sphere/or -plane can be scaled and then sculptured with the paint-tools (or just move the vertices up and down), to look like a small hill or ridge.

I guess theres ok with some abstraction, unless you wanna try make a whole scenery user added image.

If you make a close-up-frog-perspective, a background pic would fill the screen together with the "rigdge" and your model, and maybe a few rocks ? or something on the ground. But I'm just thinking here.

Very nice! Sometimes it can be hard to make legs like that since you don't really see them in nature.

It's an AT-PT by the way user added image
