Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping

help - rigid bind

i used rigid bind gor my poly model and skeleton, but parts of the model other than i intended are being moved by the joints. for example, part of his leg will move when i rotate the elbow joint.

i know a tool exists where you can go in and select which joints affect what part of the model, but i don't know what it's called or where to find it.

can anyone help me out on this? and is there anything else involved i should know about in properly editing joint manipulation?
