I remember there was a thread going on about Doom 3 but seems I couldn´t find it. Just in case you guys want to see the first screenshots of the game. (Actually it´s an alpha so it´s very very early, although I believe people will actually BUY new computers to play this game user added image

Yuh huh, I've seen alot of the screens. I saw one shot in my PCGamer where they show the polys and the wireframe and everything, and the frame was so dense you could barely see through it! There are more polys on that one monster then in alot of vehicles in other games.

Doom3's release will tie in nicely with the NV30 - in the .ini file theres an option to turn on NV30 specific features. I've read that on a 9700pro/ti4600 its only really playable at lower resolutions though obviously its early days yet. I guess theres gonna be a bit of a lift in the hardware industry around march (when its released) - NV30's and 3.2 ghz P4's for all user added image

Just so yall know (if you don't already)... a beta version of Doom 3 was leaked. It's out and people are playing it. Someone is going to get burned for that... =|
