Maya 4.5 wins!!!!

Just got this mail from my good friend at AW

--------------------------------

Maya 4.5 wins Computer Graphics World Innovation award!

I just received some great news that I would like to pass on to you.

Alias|Wavefront has been named a 2002 recipient of Computer Graphics
Alias|World's
Innovation Award for our Maya 4.5 software product.
Inside sources at CGW tell us that it was the outstanding innovation of Maya Fluid Effects that helped clinch the award win.

About the CGW Innovation Award
The Computer Graphics World Innovation Awards, presented every year in December, recognize products released in the last year that represent true technological innovation. These products are chosen by a panel of industry experts, including the editorial staff of Computer Graphics World, from submissions received in a call-for-entries roundup. Of course they won CGW's Innovation award! Did you expect anything less of Maya?

*silent pause*... I just hope A|W won't let awards go to their heads like Kinetix did... =|

Maya wins and maya owns but I hear you Oculus. I also truly hope that A|W continues keeping their heads in the clouds but the feet on the ground at the same time...
