Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Moria Orc

Hello everyone,

Well got back from Canada on monday, had a great time, back at work now :headbang:

Been working on an Orc as I decided it would present a bit more of challenge but still give me enough freedom for learning (especially on textures) ... I know its been done to death, but here's the model so far:

Main orc referance materials came from Games Workshop lord of the rings (TFOTR) strategy guide and some google'd images. Inspired slightly by Leigh van der Byl's head too.

I plan to Zbrush the model to get a displacment map, then texture it in photoshop, no plans for body or animation yet .

Cheers.

Jamie.
