How many regular users spend ages on the front page though. Not many i bet. Most probably have a quick check for new tuts and then straight onto the forum.

Well I never said I spend ages on the front page, but being the front page - its the first thing you see, and realy represents the site as a whole, so seeing the first thing over and over doesent really make good use of a main page. Lets see some variety.

We get around 3 times as many hits on the front page as we do on the forum!

It's been there for 8 months ish so I believe you just answered your own question. Everything will be changing fairly soon anyway user added image
