Fluid Dynamics Help

Can someone help me. I'm trying to put two emitters in one 2d container and have the emit at each other. Is this possible? If not is there another solution to creating this effect? I'm trying to recreate a bunson burner experiment.

....Fluid Effects -> Create 2d container with emitter, and probably make emitter a volume cone. Then select your fluid and
Fluid Effects-> Add/Edit contents -> Emitter, also make it a volume cone.
Move emitters to where you want.
Turn your fluid container gravity to 0 (9.8 is default)
Now add a radial field or volume axis fields to blow the particles at each other.
Try a Radial field (cube) that is just long and wide enough to cover both emitters, center the field midway betweeen the two.
Set a negative magnitude.
Don't forget to link your field to your fluid. Fields->Affect selected objects.
