Scale tool and other similar tools shrunk, not the right size.

How do I make these tools bigger? They're so small that I sometimes grab the wrong axis/arrow?

I sat here banging my head against the wall.... blood coming from my ears.. nose.. eyes.. wondering how in the hell they got that small, and how was i going to fix it. I'm very new to Maya, well very new to 3d all together. This website is awsome... The Points system is awsome... The forum is awsome... Just... Awsome... Oh and thanks for that resize fix...
