Hi folks,
I’m a newbie in Maya and I want to buy a book to learn Maya better.
I found interesting the following books:
1. Maya 4 fundamentals by Jim Lammers, Lee Gooding
2. Maya Visual QuickStart Guide by Danny Riddell, Andrew S
3. Exploring Maya 4 by Maximilian Schoenherr
4. Maya by John Kundert-Gibbs
I don’t know witch one is good, with examples, with good explanations, etc.
Or if you have a better book, tell me witch one is?
Thank in advance.
Originally posted by Kevin Exploring Maya 4 is awful, I actually throw my copy away! it is that bad imo
I'll drink for that . What a waste of money...
I just ordered Maya: Secrets Of The Pro's.
After I've finished that, I'll propably get the Maya 4.5 Savvy (not yet published). According to the publisher these are "All Levels" books but I think they're more for Intermediate/Advanced. At least that's what I hope...
For a complete view i agree with Kevin
but for starter and enthusiastic approach
Maya Visual QuickStart Guide works better for me.
(i actually have both books )
