Looking for any general opinions, way's to improve this and which of the two looks better. The sword tutorial in the VIP section was a great help with this.

Can anyone help with this. I'm going to be working with the model that has the red line in the handle. Is there a way i can give thickness to the lines so they are more like laces on the handle? There's already a bump map plugged into the handle using a fractal. Is it possible to use more than one bump on a shader. That'd be one for the overall handle and one for the lines?

I need the line attribute for the grid to be red but i also need to somehow have an alpha or luminace channel for line that i can adjust that's plugged into either a bump or displacement map. Any ideas. The shader can be downloaded if anyone wants to give it a try. I could use some help on this guys.

Thanks Kev. Just got to find a solution now on how to make the lines look like they have a thickness to them, like lace.
