Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Tower WIP

i've recently been gettin in to stargate atlantis and the special effects were amazing especially the city so i thought i'd see wot i could do based upon this idea of a futuristic lookin city and this is what i have made so far:

cool start. u planning on modelling the whole city? me and mate decided to start modelling atlantis a few summers ago but never really found the time..
great show... shame it stopped at a cliffhanger.. lol looks good so far.

Ive never seen Stargate Atlantis, but this looks cool, its very similar to something Ive been sketching for my project. Keep up the good work.

Maybe show a bit closer next time

I love it! I've never seen the show, but it looks like a really cool city, and the model is coming along quite nicely user added image
