a couple of those polys in front of the ear and going around the cheek look a little stretched. Maybe taking that extra line into the ear area (as you'll no doubt be able to use it there) might help.

The polys on the outer eyebrow might need a bit of tidying up too.

Morning!

bit of a milestone for me today. This would count as my first complete mesh.
It is not a finished item, I know, but as a mesh OK.
Now I will go on to refining the model. Still left to do...FEET, bit more work round the abs, plenty refinement with sculpt surfaces tool, then onto a steep learning curve with shaders, lights and rendering.
Oh, and any other things that you guys can spot that are in need of repair! user added image

hehe, yes, the feet look kind of alien. but you did very well on this body. I´d try to make the shape of the muscles less sharp so they float into each other. and don´t forget to give me your adress in case you still need some reference.

The joining of the legs to the body seem a bit unnatural maybe more of a flowing join, the ankles r quite a lot too thick.!
The ass looks a little on the small side, the heads great user added image all upper body is pretty much good but i think if he was to be so defined in the stomach area ud need more of a V shape to him and possible ribs showing slightly.

i think you are off to a good start.the anatomy look "not bad"
but the proportion look a bit off imo.look at this for some modeling anatomy references.dont forget to look at the others pages of that thread, there is some wire shot.

Good work mate. Other than the points that others have mentioned, it looks a little top heavy and the lower legs are maybe a little short - but overall, great work.

Hey Everyone,

really nice to see some good constructive crit coming in, thanks really appreciate it.
You guys make some very valid points, some I have had my eye on and some that I had not spotted.
I have some decent time tomorrow to devote to my model, I shall pick up my tools at 7.00am sharp. I'll keep you guys up to date, please keep the great advice coming.
