Complex UV Layout in Maya

Menus missing in Maya....?
Wondering if anyone can help. My normal pane menus are missing (view, lighting, etc.) as outlined where they should be in the attached image. I have searched and searched, but I can't find how to get them back...and not sure what I did to remove them. Anyone know? Thx.
