first low poly models..crits please!!

I am trying to learn low poly modelling and finding it quite difficult...here are some guns i made...they are made of about 500 faces each...which im worried is to big, but i swear i couldnt make em less...?? any advise?user added image user added image

looks good... you usually measure low poly models in triangles though, since a face could be an arbitrary-sided polygon.

To reduce the amount a bit you could delete the edge in the middle that cut up the mirrored faces.

yeah, in game terms, your models are actually 1000+ polys. Nice job, though.
