Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

You can't really comp in maya, that may be why you can't get any tutorial's on it. You need a software like After Effect's or Shake for true comping movie style, or photoshop for 2d.

Adobe also provide free tutorials online for all their products and the Help files have tutes in them too.

After Effect Tutes

It is easy to miss the sound in after effects. Because for some reason it is not switched on by default. If you create a movie zou will have to go into the compressor settings (i think) and check the sound box at the bottom.
But I would not even bother doing my sound in aef since it's kinda wired. I'd always use an editing app.
