This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
go to your hypershade, (I don't have maya on this machine so I need to gess some of the stuff) now look on top of your work area there should be various tabs. Named materials, textures usw. It should be the textures one (if not you'll have to browse through them) click on it and now you see the file nodes. Look for the file name select the node and hit delete.
What I want to do is not to delete the image from the Maya project, because I am using it on another material, but to delete it from the default lambert material. I can't delete the material, so I have to remove the file from it, because I don't want every new model I create to have this image on them... I hope you understand what I mean.
From where? The attribute editor? If so, that doesn't work for me. I have tried to right click the places with red circles around on the picture I have uploaded...
