Question on how to apply print on a mug

I was wondering how to apply text on the side of a mug. I've tried to search but I don't know exactly what I'm looking for.

Something like that. I'm wondering what the correct approach is to put text on the side on and the side and make it appear when I render.

Thanks in advance.

You can create a layered shader and put the logo on top of the other.

https://www.digitaltutors.com/store/p...39&page=1#tabs
Also check out the sample in the link that says Bonus: Using Shading Networks
He shows how to apply a logo to her arm.

Also search for tutorials on layered shaders.
