Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Desert Eagle

Hi! After two years of Max I decided switch to Maya and have now been playing around about month or so… still have much to learn. Here’s my first model in maya!

Looks real nice, but in my opinion you could add some scratches in the material or some parts which are not that reflective, e.g. the part where you touch the barrel to pull it back. Besides, very nice metal shader.

wow - cool model! Though I tend to agree with FubaR that it needs a little dirtying up. Great work though.user added image

I could argue with you alll daay loooong. And how can you assume that if you just started 3d graphics and only have used Maya? I have used Maya for 2 years and Max for one.
