Looks good, are all the strings the same diameter on your model?

I think you could make the wood texture have a little specular highight to it as it looks a bit flat at teh moment

Whats the plan for the video?

no their all different diameters but since bass strings are all pretty this its not by much heres a close up maybe u can tell maybe not.

Well the basic plan for the video is hsowing these two guys who kinda look like gumbi but all camo'd trying to get through this battel torn city to basically see the band play bombs esplotions gunfire etc. included. The band is called Sydney you can check out their myspace and https://www.myspace.com/sydney1 the song im doing the video for is D

Cool I see now, the only other thing I could say is the brigge and machine heads could do with looking a bit more metallic (maybe add a reflection map as this will bring out the reflective property of the material).

They remind me a bit of Pearl Jam!

Reflection maps are spherical images that are applied to material as, well a reflection map, so that the material has something to reflect to the viewer so it looks like its in an environment.

The kind of effect that they have can be seen in HDR rendered images (althought HDR images are mainly used for some sort of lighting) the JD bottle I did has a HDR on it that provides the relfections, as well as some of the cars that people have done.

For learning the fields just create an emmiter and add each field and play with the magnatudes and other settings to get a feel of them.

Cheers
