Ok here is what I tried to do yet I don't seem to find a way.
The thing I am trying is to actualy create a curve, like a joint.
I have create a simple polygon to show the effect I want to add but as I said, if I try to do this to the image you can see it moves the edge separately.
How can I move the edge so it would affect the hole block like in the small block I made out of 2 polygons
Iv i'm understanding you rigth, you might try Creating a lattice deformer, under the animation menue's, and messing with the setings to get the desired effect...
Select the object you wnat to do wahts it with..
Hold down your space bar.. select the animation markin gmenue... Then creat a lattice deformer... Right click the lattice deforemer, and selevt controle points i think it is.. and deform away... You'll be able to screw with the settings of the deformer in the channel box so that it has more or less influence on the object.. divisions and what not in the lattice...
when you're done delete history, and you'll have a nice new deformed object under your controle
G
If thats the desired effect , and the mesh is clean... then yes, its geometrically correct...
To 'commit' as you say, just click Edit>Deleat by type> History with tha tobject selected...
or, Edit Dleat All by type History...if you want to do that for your entire scene...
What can you do if you want the horizontal middle line to be 35% from bottom and the rest 65% from top? Instead of 50%-50%. As well I only want 1 middle horizontal line for modeling purpose.
Can you change the position of them if you have multiple horizontal middle lines as well?
yep. when you create the lattice, just use more side settings (i think its called) instead of 2, use like 4. That splits the lattice, instead of top-down, it splits it 4 times. You can edit those points the same way you did with this one.
