Assume Prefered Angle not working...

Anyone know why? So I made a skeleton, I rigged it up, I highlight the pelvis and set prefered angle, I rotate some stuff, and go to assume prefered angle...nothing.

Thoughts?

Well supposedly my rigging tutorial says that I should select the pelvis joint (when in its initial state) RMB and 'set prefered angle'. Then if I move the joints of the skeleton and want it to return to its initial state I could click on 'assume prefered angle' and it would go back to that initial state. But it doesnt work for me. I tried making a new skeleton, I tried other models, but it doesnt work.

if u want to go back to ORIGINAL position ie the one u bound him in there is a option called skin -> go to bind pose in animation menu set

Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here
