Fog

Hi is there a way to make an object unaffected by environment fog? And are there any other better alternatives to env fog? it just seems a bit limited

it allways depends on what you´re aiming at. keep the possibility in mind to render in layers / alphaChannels and tweak it in the post.

everything starts and ends in the right place at the right time.

there is probably a way doing it in maya, but stick to what fallot suggested. Render your fog, then switch the fig off and just render the object. Composite and it is probably a lot easier than doing everything in maya.

Ok thanx for that! Next animation I'm doing I will have to do various layers... also would Zdepth be a good solution for post fog?
