This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
I think you need to be a bit more specific - what kind of objects are they? If they are polygons, use polygons>combine. You can then use merge vertices or merge edges to join them together.
