Making a sun?

Hi all,

Anyone know of a tutorial that explains how to make a sun for my solar system scene. No surface details requred. I'd be happy with a bright light with some rays and lens flare...

Like this...?

you could just cheep out on it, and USe photoshop's lense flair filter to insert Sol into th eimage post render..
Add A light in to light th eplanet, then add the lene flare in the right place afterwards

Yeah, that would work OK for a still image - I should of mentioned that this will be a moving camera shot.

Any more thoughts?
