Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
Seems like I can never get exporting models from Maya to work regardless the exporter used. Tried OBJ and the model turned black with normals facing all over the place. Tried FBX and had triangles missing.
Before export I deleted history, cleaned up, etc.

This is the same on multiple models in both Maya 6 and Maya 8.
