This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I've created a train animation in Maya. The problem is this; I have 5 cars in my train, and I want to set the first car to the motion path, but I want the other 4 cars to follow in order on that path. I haven't been able to figure it out. What I had to do was create 5 identical paths and set each car to a different path with offsetting the time. It looks great, and works fine. But I am not satisfied. I don't like doing things half-ass, there has to be an easier(correct) way to do it. I've tried constraints, but i can't get them to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
