Exporting formats?
I need to export a rigged model out of a scene and back into maya to ultimately re-export in direct x format ( due to a hidden corruption in my current working scene) what file formats can i export from maya and back again that will retain all of the rigged and model data? i have tried fbx so far but this when re imported into maya leaves the model all over the place in pieces. What other ways can i freely import and export selections from and to maya and keep all the neccessary data
