This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

"transparent objects"

Hi guys,

I have recently installed the latest drivers for my graphics card to resolve an issue I was having with my manipulator tools not appearing in all viewports. This problem has been resolved but I am now finding that as I zoom away from my objects in the views they appear transparent or see-through although they appear ok when rendered. Are there any settings within Maya that I might be able to adjust to eliminate this problem.
I am running Maya 8.This problem does not happen in Maya 4.5 which I am lalso running.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Munny.

TRANSPARENT OBJECTS

No,
I don't have objects set to x-ray.Another file i opened ,I had my geometry smoothed and as I zoomed away it appeared distorted and 'black'.

Would appreciate some help.

Thanks,Munny.
