a little bit of work, just warped the side and back planks to make it a little less flat looking.

Perhaps you should have nails or something stuck to the planks also user added image Some of the nails could be like, bent and partly drawn out.

I would suggest smoothing the planks too, they look too jagged now.

I agree, a few little details like that would liven it up quite a bit. ^_^

Maybe even add some sort of handle...?

Yeah, an U shaped handle from a tree would be nice.

Ed,

Good Work m8.

I like the feel of this model (not the smell tho :p). I would not smooth the wood as DJ suggestd its really what gives it, its beat up, been here too long look. Get some wood in there & try displacement maps for any of the little details in the wood (nail heads, chips etc...)

Lookin good. I don't think that the second nail to the left could end up in that position though.

But those planks has sharpness not from this world, like they have been sawed with a machine. More of a cartoonish look.

the outhouse looks nice enough, the only thing that seems a bit wrong to me is that your nails look like screws for the heads of the screws i would use a grid as a bump map to get the nail look
