Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

MR and "dynamic" HDRI

hello,

I've got a scene lit by HDRI, emitting light, but no photons. I've keyframed the rotation on my HDRI sphere so it gently turns and produces a sunrise. When I render individual frames I can see my light changing. However when I batch the whole thing nothing happens and my light stays static.
I've tried Gi as well with rebuild photon map checked, -but no difference.
How can I get maya to recognize that I am turning my sphere.

any help much appreciated

have you set the render globals start frame and end frames?

yes I did, the image sequence was 50 frames long.
I was wondering from what I read in the thread below particles sometimes have to be cached in order to show up in the render. Is there maybe such a thing for MR?
