This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Cleaning polygons

Does anybody know if there is a good guide on the cleaning tool as to what each option does etc... thanks

in my opinion, the best 'guide' would be taking a model with over-tesselated objects and trying each option out on said model, then performing an undo if you don't like your outcome.

or the help files (press F1 and do a search on the tool) should help user added image
