Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

really depends on what needs to be modelled, so i say "somthing else" user added image

As with Kal, it really depends on what needs to be modelled. I'll use both polys and NURBS for modeling, but I do end up finishing everything as polys. That's mostly because I work in games and realtime.

i prefer nurbs+polys+subds i just mix em up

and by the way, i prefer 60% polys, 30% nurbs and 10% sub-ds.... (just cant vote all of them)
