toonshader

hello

I would like to use a toon shader on my models (meaning that the mesh will get overall the same color no matter how you rotate around it, when rendering)

The technique is to use toonshader models on black background, so that the movie can be imported, traced and filtered into Flash (vector graphic)

I used google to find toonshader, but the links I found were dead - can you please help me?

Have u had a look at Mental Ray's contour shaders? I used it to made a custom wireframe model in the WIP section.

Though my shader was mixed with ambient occlusion to get the shadow effects which u probably don't want. But the countour has a lot of possibilities which a toonshader probably can't do.
