Using two bump maps with a layered shader

Hi,

I've got two bump maps (bodyBump and faceBump) which are allocated to their correct spaces within the uv connection editor. I had them working about two weeks ago, forgot to save, and I can' t get them working again. They are in the layered texture, which is plugged into a bump2d node, which is plugged in to my material.

The problem is in the layers somewhere I think. If I set the blend mode to none, I can see my body bump fine (and the face if I swap their places). But when I set the blend mode to add, neither appear. Also, when I set the blend mode to add, the overall colour of the layer becomes white (they are both grey overall individually). I have tried experimenting with the alpha setting with no luck, I have the alpha is luminance unchecked... what am I missing?

So annoying cause I had it working.

thanks,

gubar
