that may be a bit tricky. I will see if there is anything that can be done. I know that you can offset the foam but not sure if that would help.

KB, I think you're on the right track with yours, though so keep at it. I'd like to see it done without the use of fluid effects, also ( some of us still use 4.0). user added image

I have never seen anyone that i know of really attempt to do water in Maya. That LW stuff is super impresive.

KB is totally on the right track. I would love to see the outcome.

Well I know, in the book "Maya Fundamental's 4," they teach you the basics of water by using the same principles KB is using. Converting a NURBS plane to a softie, adding a turbulance field, etc. KB's is much more realistic with the added expression and use of cameras. I'm excited to see the final outcome. Maybe he could do a video tutorial for SM once he figures it out.user added image

kbrown: I'm doing a tute on that one for LightWave, maybe you could just have a look and port it to maya when it's done?

Didn't use any simulations; just plain old displacement, if that helps any.
