Animation

Hello i'm realy new to the maya software but i have bean doing some animations in other programs. Well i dont know how it is about maya but can you put sound to a animation in maya or do you need to use another program ater you render it to a AVI.

If you need another program do you know a good program that helps you get a good sound effects on your animation?

Technically you can add audio within Maya but it is more for lip-sync than audio editing.

To add audio you would need either a compositing package like After Effects or Fusion, or an editing package like Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
