export from maya to .obj problem?

hey everyone

i have created a 3d character using maya 8.0 and i export it to

.obj so that i can open it in zbrush i get in the maya output

window error getting shader and when i render it some parts appear black

can someone help me ? do i have to set anything up before

exporting to .obj ?

This happened to me one time. It turned out I had instances in my scene. Example: You duplicated an instance of half your character. Try mirroring and merging.

yah i have duplicated faces

i tried mirroring the geomtry

it worked thanks man
