Right: The Original stool at full size works fine

Wrong: Scaling down the stool by 90% messes up the texture

Any ideas?
thats not really true in maya, if i understand the Max lingo. scaling down does not distort UV's, Unless you select the UV's and scale them within the UV editor...Originally posted by effacer
depending on wht i know in 3ds max, once u model any object, u can't scale it down or scale it up. it'll distort it's uv co ordinates. for that, either u WILL have to prepare ur model in small size, or if u have to scale it down after modeling, then do it in sub mode, not in sub object(vertex, edge, face) mode.
