Displaying arcs on top of animation

Hi there,

I was wondering if it were possible in maya to display the path that an object is taking? This would make is easier to track arcs etc if whilst playing back the animation it could display lines on top showing the paths objects or limbs are taking

Thanks in advance!

i believe that you can actually create a motion path based on the animation that an object's already got...
