This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Greetings all, Im currently studying Maya at university and am in my third year. an issue (that seems to only occur on my home computer) has been plagueing my isoparm tool. each time I click and drag an isoparm across a nurbs surface (when red) it jitters and leaves a trail of multiple red isoparms whenever I stop moving the cursor across the surface. (this happenes no matter what shape the surface is) However as soon as I release to create the isoparm it does create my isoparm and the other red ones dissapear. I've put up with it untill now as Im finding it hard to see the red isoparm that I want to create in amongst the others blocking my view. any help would be fantastic

(this issue also ocurs with the red artisian brushes too)
Try a higher res on your card but also to get the isoparm to work you have to the menu 'edit nurbs' and hit 'Insert isoparm'. otherwise it wont work on release
Yeh i know that much, it was just the red juttering when I clicked and dragged the isoparm i was worried about, the insertion of the isoparm works fine thanks for the help anyways! much appresheated! Will go and try updating my drivers
