Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Yer working with the mental ray shadder lately with my Grimlock I went to maya 2008 and now moved on to 2009 with the render passes and such - but for everything I start in Maya 8.5 - it seems to work better with my graphic card as well.

I'm getting the complete version. I can't afford the unlimited version yet. But at least I won't be limited by the student license anymore. I might receive it in a few days. But now that I'm getting it, I started modeling again today...I'm just too anxious to wait. I saw a cool AT-AT that someone did on the web, so I'm going to model it. Well, the foot anyway.
