Mirror Geometry, chage default value for merge threshould???

Is there any way to change the default value of the merge threshould????
It sucks everytime i do a mirror geometry, my model gets deformed at the small details. And i have to do "ctrl+a" then change to 0.001.

Thx for any help!

This one seems to do it:
polyMirrorFace -ws 1 -direction 1 -mergeMode 1 -ch 1 -mergeThreshold 0.01;

Made a new button at the custom shelf.

Hi,

you can just change the setting in the merge tool's options. The mirror tool will use whatever it's set too.

cheers

My version doesn't have it... Only has option to choose the axis (x,y,z.-x,-y,-z), join vertices or connect vertices (enable disable), but no threshould.

Hi,

the threshold is not under the mirror tool options - it's under the merge tool options, which is a seperate tool (under "edit mesh").

The merge function on the mirror tool will use the same threshold though.

All versions have it I believe.

At the merge tool it is by default at 0.0100, but still when i use the mirror geometry tool it always use 0.1.

I guess i will use the custom shelf anyway, besides i put at the same button "smooth normal 30". So it kills 2 birds with one quick button click.

Thx for you help.
