This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Thats it I'm running in fear and going back to lurk mode until I can keep up with you tweety! Just kidding of course. Its coming along great though! Keep it up!
yeah it looks cool, i think the hips look really wide tho, and the area between the neck and the clavicle looks odd. Perhaps because the occlusion has shaded them so differently, but that may just be the angle of the render.
With the Eurogamer round the corner been working on some new "Game Art" to take to the job fair there, but the one thing I`m doing is an animated door that I`m going to use for the background/setting for this character.
Its 5000 Tri`s and two sided and animated - uv`s done and about to start texturing now.
Also does anyone know how to command line batch render in Maya 2010 - everytime I try it opens 8.5 then says it cant open due to newer of maya and when I remove maya 8.5 the render option is gone.

Ok done a simple T-shirt for the character based on a logo from a friend of mine (copyright of "great white productions")
Added a cut with some dried up blood to give it a "uncharted" look to it - will carry on the blood to the jeans (which is next by the way.
Just notice the seam line on the back - it stands out alittle too much. I layed out the uv so they would cut were the seams would be (based on real t shirts) but I did not want them to stand out that much.
These are just screen grabs from maya - I have got a bump map on this aswell but that render will have to wait for now
