The Third and The Seventh - Genius work

I don't know if this has been posted before, but it's worth posting again. I was led onto this short film via an obscure link from the Blender website.

It is probably the best bit of art direction and cinema photography I have seen in a long while. Watch it with the sound on! Made with Max I believe and VRay.

Yeah, that's absolutely insane. I can't believe that it's all CG. Really, I can't... so I'm going to look for that 'making of' to verify this.

I've watched it about 4 times now and just cannot believe how well done this. I believe it took him a year to complete. That's some dedication if you ask me.

What gets me most is his grasp of lighting and texture. Yeah the models are super, but the lighting is just awesome!

Super talented fellow!!!

sometimes the texture looks unbelievable!...Can they be better then this??

I wonder, how much sweat it will take to render something like this for an expert in Mental Ray!!
