This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

looking to buy maya software

hi ,

as the title suggests i'm looking for any websites that sell maya software for a relatively low price,

i'm looking for a legit version, if anyone here is selling any older versions maya 7 - 8.5 , please let me know,

like i said it has to be legit, no pirate stuff of keygens, i've been using my friends copy of maya for the past few years, but now he's moved cities so, it's time to get a copy of maya myself,

If it is for hobby usage only, a student version is available.

every few years i sign up for a class just to get the newest version of maya.

you could check the bookstore at your local college or purchase through a current student...(if you know any current students)

as far as i know this is the cheapest version out there.

looks like the link didn't work. an educational bundle that contains maya 2011, mudbox and 3dsMax is available for 349.00 USD.

hope that helps.

it does require a current valid stundent id. so you would need your sister to order.... or sign up for a class yourself.

Based in UK and really fast. This is where I get my stuff from - but my mum is a teacher and I use her account to get it, but your sis should be enough. Only problem I see is that they no longer do just Maya only this student bundle but those 4 for under £200 grab it if you can.

If its for freelance paid work then you cant use a student version you need to get the full commercial software, which is a lot more expensive.

If you want a free version of the student version then have a look on autodesks student site, you can get a free 36 month trail of pretty much all Autodesk software inclusing Maya, Motionbuilder, Max, etc etc
