Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
Ok, I just picked up DOAX (Dead or alive extreme beach volleyball) for xbox today (release date) and I have to say it is WONDERFUL. The gameplay is actually great and will provide me with hundreds of hours of fun. I just wanted to tell you that the quality in that game is amazing and you have camera options so that during Semi-Cinematics you can rotate around the characters and zoom in (wonderful feature). If anyone knows what 3d program such as Maya was used to make this game I would greatly appreciate the information. I just find it amazing how far video games have came since the good ol days of playin Doom and Reg Nintendo games. I wouldnt be surprised if the models were made in Maya, they even go down to detail on their fingernails (if you buy nailpolish thats red you will have red nails). Ok, cya.
